Air Industries moves into Solar Power

Air Industries Australia has recently partnered with a solar energy company to provide the retail sector with solar and energy solutions.  We see this as an important step for Air Industries as another means of promoting and supplying products that are of benefit to the environment. Air Industries will promote solar energy  to the automotive trade sector as a means of reducing power costs but more importantly as a means of helping our planet.  For those automotive repairers that are property owners, they will also see that investing in a solar energy system is a very wise investment.

Fiji chooses AIR Smoke-Tec for the second time

In 2004, The LTA (Land Transport Authority) of Fiji, after many months of testing various products, decided on the AIR brand Smoke-Tec Diesel Opacity Smoke Meter to carry out emissions testing on diesel engine vehicles as part of their annual roadworthy certificate. All the Vehicle Compliance Testing stations in Fiji were fitted out with the Smoke-Tec Diesel Opacity Meters, amongst an array of other specialised equipment . Towards the end of 2009, the time had come to replace the smoke meters, and the LTA once again elected to continue using the Smoke-Tec brand due to its excellent track record.  Air Industries Australia recently shipped the new equipment and carried out on site training for all the Fiji inspectors at their Suva headquarters. We are very proud that AIR's Smoke-Tec Diesel Opacity Meter has been accepted once again and will be used exclusively by the LTA testing authorities.
